Community Spirit Shines at Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning

Despite the heavy rain on 27th September, the community spirit was undampened as the local community came together for a coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, at our offices in Dorking, Leatherhead and Bookham in Surrey.  The event was a resounding success, raising an impressive £1,330 for the charity.

The turnout was remarkable, with many braving the weather to contribute to this worthy cause. The highlight of the morning was undoubtedly the array of homemade cakes, showcasing the hidden baking talents within our company. One standout creation was a beautifully decorated cake, featuring “Macmillan Cancer 2024” in edible lettering, which added a special touch to the event.

The atmosphere was filled with a great sense of community and camaraderie. Colleagues and customers old and new mingled over cups of coffee and slices of cake, sharing stories and laughter. The buzz in the room was palpable, reflecting the collective effort and enthusiasm of everyone involved.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all who donated and participated. Your generosity and support made this event not only possible but truly memorable. Together, we have made a significant contribution to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them continue their vital work.

This coffee morning was more than just a fundraiser; it was a celebration of our community’s spirit and dedication to making a difference. We look forward to more such events in the future, where we can come together, have fun, and support important causes.
